Does anyone else play Sims with Prince of Tennis characters? I just started a new game with my Teniville and it's residents and I'd like to share the beginning of their story with pictures! I would love to see your stories too...

Supermarkets in Tokyo
There is a Maruman near our Yoyogi apartment, but the selection is frightfully small, so I've been on the lookout for other places to shop. There's one place in Shibuya (AFAIK), but for a few reasons I'd rather go to Shinjuku instead. Unfortunately, Shibuya is the only place I can actually bring Doug, unless we take a long walk to/from Shinjuku. So, I branched out and started looking at places I could go to by myself.

While looking online, I found out that Meguro actually has a whole cluster of supermarkets, all of them very near the station! I might go there tomorrow during my long break, just to scout out the area. Gotta run a bunch of errands first, but oooh, lots of supermarkets on my teiki, and it doesn't involve a long walk from the station! I'm so there. Maybe I can find things both Doug and I will like!

O_o I am falling behind on my to-do lists and everything else. I'm cooking less, doing chores less often (goodness, I need to vacuum), not quite keeping up with e-mail (I just got a panicked follow-up to something I received two days ago and hadn't replied to yet), letting the friends list go for three days or so, and let's not even talk about RSS feeds.

I blame The Sims 3: that game is far too addictive for its own good. My state of up-to-dateness was already precarious before getting the game--now that I have the game, I'm letting everything else fall to the wayside. Maintaining a bedtime was already difficult enough. Now that I have the game it's become practically impossible. The tasks list in Gmail is definitely seeing a lot of use, and I am reminding myself of deadlines and other things via Google Calendar's e-mail alert function as well. ^_^; Oh man, this is bad--I need to make sure I keep up by checking my calendar constantly.

The numbers were out early yesterday because of the holiday in Japan, although the official dates for most new releases are today. That's why you can see the number for Eito stays almost the same while Yusuke's jumps up almost 10k, because supposedly, some of the stores only released their numbers today.

it's been a series of strange days for me. it all started last saturday when i thought i was being haunted. it was cold where i live so i was wearing a sweater and i was in the home office chatting with amanda. anyway, so i felt something tap my arm, then again my head and then again my other shoulder. i was getting afraid so i turned on the lights and WTF OMG it was a FROG. something i am more afraid of than snakes or lizards! I SCREAMED and people in the house thought we were being robbed =\ sorry i couldn't help it. they caught the darn thing and put it outside. i have no idea how it got in and i really don't want to know. i just wanted it out! out! out! and so my odd days followed. i couldn't sleep after that. this is how much i fear frogs. my period came back with a vengeance too @_@ my mother told me to start thinking right because obviously this was all psychological. i agree with her, tbh. so tonight i will force myself to sleep no matter what!
