And then there was one
Currently, I'm the only person in my family who is not sick. Ummm, strong constitution, maybe? ^^;;

My brother's getting better, but now my mom's the one who's wheezing all around the house. She's better than she was a few days ago though, so it should be alright.

Uni was a rush last week (last-minute shocker when we found out one of our assignments wasn't in line with one of the requirements), but two more weeks and hello, end of term (and Finals, SOB).

In other news, I have gotten addicted to the Olympic song, Beijing Welcomes You/Beijing Huan Ying Ni . It's so catchy, one can't help but sway along (even if one's chinese skills are pretty much nonexistent like mine, oops >D;;). Stand Up! is also pretty cool; love the verses.

In the meantime, I'm looking for the song 'The Moon is Bright Tonight', the Chinese folk song sung during the closing but so far, no luck.

I'VE ALSO FINALLY UNDERSTOOD ALL THE 'BOOM DE YADA, BOOM DE YADA' DEAL GOING ON, ORZ.

Finally got to play DW5 again! T^T9 So far, I've maxed out 4 characters from Shu (Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Jiang Wei, Xing Cai), 4 from Wu (Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, Ling Tong, Xiao Qiao), 2 from Wei (Zhen Ji, Cao Pi) and Lu Bu. Not quite sure who I want to play next, but I'm considering either Zhang He or Diao Chan, depending on whose 4th weapon is harder to get.

And [info]iyori? Zhou Yu's friendship with Sun Ce? WAAAAAAAAAY more disturbing than Zhuge Liang and Jiang Wei. I'M SORRY, BUT ZHOU YU, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUUUUU( YOU HAVE A WIFE, DAMMIT). D8< I liked him better in Xiao Qiao's musou mode.

*laughs* Yes, the song really is catchy. I don't remember who put up the entire three (or was it four?) disc album for me, but after listening to everything, Beijing Huanying Ni was the only song I liked.

Awww, darn. Any way I could find it though?

I've no idea really; I don't have Astro at home (bummed out at [info]yuncyn's place to watch the Olympics. As it was, we watched the events and didn't notice the songs - I only heard it after the closing. ^^;

I can't remember which stage - IIRC Wu Zhang plains, possibly where you get JW's 4th weapon - but i SWEAR the dialogue was CREEPY AS FUCK, my brother was freaked out, i was freaked out, and i never get freaked. (Because, you know, desensitization via over-consumption of yaoi and other err questionable material ohoho.)

ALL THE COUPLES ARE SO CUTE AKJHDK'DJKS FOLLOWING EACH OTHER AROUND <3333 Oh i vaguely recall one of the Qiaos follows you around at Bai Di because their hubby ordered them to, but i can't remember which character i was playing.

HMMMM, I finished Jiang Wei's musou mode, so it means either i) I didn't notice it or ii) I was dense enough to not think it creepy? Maybe I should replay it again to see what you're referring to (is it the one where Zhuge Liang falls to his knees or something?)

Bai Di, Bai Di, hmmmmmmmmmmmm....the one with Shu against Wu (Liu Chan leader)? I don't think there is any more Qiaos at that Bai Di though since both Sun Ce and Zhou Yu shouldn't be longer around anymore? (it's Lu Xun's era, baby >D.) BUT COUPLES FOLLOWING EACH OTHER AROUND ARE WIN; THANK GOODNESS MOST OF THEM RIDE HORSES (the men anyway) - I LEFT XIAO QIAO WANDERING ALL AROUND THE MAP WHEN ZHOU YU WAS ON RED HARE BUT DAYMN, SHE'S FAST AT CATCHING UP. AI NO CHIKARA? 8DDDDD

Yeah, that stage! There's a previous scene or two before you defeat Zhuge. Maybe you were too busy being awed by Zhuge's bigi to notice XDDD

AHAHA not Bai Di then. I fail, still getting my names mixed up. It's Wu + Shu VS Wei on a fleet of boats that belong to Cao Cao. Where Pang Tong's all awesome and stuff, and Wu do their thing by setting the whole map on fire;;;; I love that stage, it's so much fun and very exciting whichever side you're on *w* Damnit why does the place's name escape meeeee

I WISH MY BODYGUARDS COULD CATCH UP FASTER TOO LOL SOMETIMES I JUST FEEL SO SORRY FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE RUNNING ALL OVER THE MAP AND NOT REALLY KILLING ANYTHING;;;

Oh, CHI BI LOLLLLLLL, IT GIVES ME A HEADACHE SOMETIMES, ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M ON RED HARE BECAUSE I SOMETIMES TURN INTO DEAD ENDS, ORZ. Hmmm, can't be Xiao Qiao - I went around by myself on the whole map; she is so awesomely kickass and her musou combo is A++++. T^Tb Maxed out her stats before her level. DA QIAO MAYBE? BUT THEN I'LL HAVE TO PLAY SUN CE WHO NEEDS TO BE UNLOCKED BY SUN QUAN, ORZ. LONG WAY, THAT. I WANT TO UNLOCK GUAN PING, BUT I NEED TO PLAY GUAN YU FIRST, ORZ.

ZHOU YUN/XIAO QIAO = MOE. PERIOD.

No no, i meant one of the Qiaos follow you around during that stage when you use a particular character. I think it was Huang Gai, who had the important task of setting the ships on fire, so Zhou Yu got either his wife or her sister to assist you. I hate one of XQ's attack, the one where she FALLS FLAT ONTO HER FACE WTF GET UP GET UP ow ow ;_; Other than that, she's decent enough. And yeah, i'm annoyed enough by the horse, meet wall thing to go on foot for that stage XDDD I reeeeeally hope DW6 brings over OW's awesome function of whistling for the horse.

There was one time i had cleared all the enemies on the map, save Cao Cao, and just waited around to see if the allied forces would start attacking him. Mostly they just milled around the North West side DOING NOTHING orz. Only the soldiers were doing their job but soon enough CAO CAO HAS KILLED 50 OF OUR TROUPES so i decided to give up and do it myself >>;; I did the same thing against Taishi Ci (Sun Ce's first or second stage), and this time the officers DID atack but got wiped out pretty quickly |D

If you complete the stage quick enough, Zhuge lives 8DDDD But disappears ANYWAY for the following stages, so it just means you don't need to watch him die. My brother likes to race ahead during the stage where Sun Jian gets shot and try to save him, which is hard because it happen pretty damn quick. (And oh man, i really want him of all people to survive, for Papa-san is the most awesome daddy ever ;w;) Too bad Ling Cao is a lost cause eh.
